Getting Started with Elements
Welcome to Woolitec Elements! Our platform makes it incredibly simple to create, customize, and embed powerful widgets directly into your website. This guide will walk you through the basics.
1. Creating an Element
After logging in, you'll land on your dashboard. This is where you can manage all of your elements.
- Click the "Create New Element" button to start.
- You'll be taken to the Element Editor. Give your element a name for your own reference (e.g., "Homepage Pricing Table").
2. Customizing Your Element
The heart of our platform is the editor, which is designed for speed and simplicity.
- Choose an Element Type: Use the "Element Type" dropdown to select the kind of widget you want to build (e.g., Pricing Tiers, Accordion, Team Section).
- Edit Content: Once you've selected a type, the editor will display all the available fields. You can change text, upload images (by URL), add or remove items, and customize colors.
- Save Your Changes: Click the "Save" button in the top right to save your progress.
3. Embedding on Your Website
Once your element is ready, getting it onto your site is as simple as copy and paste.
- In the editor, click on the "Embed Code" tab.
- You will see a small snippet of HTML code that looks like
<iframe ...></iframe>. - Click the "Copy Code" button.
- Paste this code into the HTML of your website where you want the element to appear. It works with most website builders like WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Carrd, and custom-coded sites.
- Publish Your Element: Don't forget to set the element's status to "Published" in the Element Settings. Draft elements will not appear on your live website.
That's it! Your element will now be live on your website.
